While it might be a very simple change, it’s amazing how much of a difference a new shower curtain and a shower caddy can make. We have been in our new home for 3 weeks now. We have no sofa in our living room. We have no dining table, but at least we have a little bar area to eat meals. We have almost everything unpacked, though some of it hasn’t been put away yet.
I wanted to do something that would allow me to start personalizing this home but with an instant result. Instant as in I can get it done in 5 minutes. 😆 {This took more like 30 minutes due to trial and error on my part.} I decided to start with the master bathroom by changing out the hideous shower curtain the previous owner left and adding a shower caddy on top of the corner seat.
This is the shower caddy I used from Amazon, and I love it! It’s compact and adjustable based on the height you are working with.
Honestly, I’d love nothing more than to replace the entire shower stall with something a little more roomy, but our budget doesn’t really allow that right now. I hate the shower seat because it takes up too much space, and I feel slightly claustrophobic while showering. I’ve contemplated removing the rails inside and filling the holes with silicone, but then I’m scared water will still manage to get behind the wall. Maybe one day…
In the meantime, this shower caddy serves its purpose: to tidy up my stuff in the shower.
Below is a video that I hope you’ll find helpful if you are deciding whether to put a shower caddy on a corner seat in a small shower stall. I do admit, it was a slight challenge for me to get this to fit only because I wasn’t thinking clearly! I give you a few tips for installing this one, should you decide to do the same thing!
