This squirrel is going to die if he doesn’t stay off my bird feeder and window screen… I’ve had this bird feeder up for years, and suddenly a squirrel refuses to leave it alone. I tried wrapping the pole with duct tape. That didn’t work. I put canola oil on the pole to make it slippery. That apparently didn’t work.
And, as if hogging the bird feeder isn’t enough, this morning, he decides to climb all over my window screen, licking the edge of the window it seems. The first part of the video is from earlier this morning, when it first happened. I heard something strange after I’d sat down with my first cup of coffee, so I investigated, thinking the cats were playing with something they weren’t supposed to be playing with. And then I see a squirrel on my window screen!
The cats (and me standing right at him) didn’t even phase the squirrel. Later, I catch him on the screen again. Fortunately, Targét ran him off in the last segment. I have no idea what’s on our window that seems to taste so good to the squirrel. I love how he just stares at me at one point during the video. It’s mocking me…
