I came across this recipe on AllRecipes and changed up a few things. I prefer keeping frozen fruit in the freezer for smoothies, so I used frozen fruit instead of fresh. I used the weight equivalent of 2 medium peaches according to Calorie Count‘s website and 1/2 cup of strawberry halves. I also doubled the recipe, except for the strawberries, because I found it’s just not enough for 2 people as a meal, which is what I typically do with smoothies. This recipe size fits perfectly into two 16oz mason jars, and it turned out delicious! It’s definitely one of my new favorite smoothies!
- 2 5.3oz containers strawberry Greek yogurt (I use Yoplait.)
- 1½ cups (12oz) milk (I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk)
- 196g frozen peaches
- 76g frozen strawberries
- 1.5 tbsp (31g) honey
- ¼ tsp ground ginger
- Combine all ingredients (yogurt and milk first so it blends better) in a blender and mix until well blended.
