DIY Customized Napkin Holder

Sep 8, 2014 By April Leave a Comment

Finally!  It has taken me two weeks to complete this napkin holder, mainly because I’ve been so busy and haven’t had the time to dedicate to it.  Waiting for 3 coats of paint and 3 coats of Polycrylic to dry is what took the longest.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I wanted to build something a few weeks back, and I thought this would be a perfect beginner project since the coasters and napkin holder on the dining table seemed a little cluttered to me.

And this is how it looks now!

I used 1/2″ Sande Plywood from Home Depot for this project.  It’s not perfect, mind you, but it was a learning experience.  I’m just thrilled everything is nice and tidy in one location now and not scattered all over the table.  Perhaps one day I’ll design and make a different one, but for now, this works!
